Developing academic skills
Each student is challenged to reach his or her potential with tracked classes for all skill based subjects - like math, literacy, Hebew language, Chumash and Gemarah - in a respectful and sensitive fashion and academic skills are encouraged through research projects, collaborative work and long-term advocacy projects.
Preparing for the future
As our students rotate among more teachers for subject-specific instruction, they develop the study and prioritization of skills that are necessary for a more demanding academic load as they prepare for high school. With the active support and guidance of our teachers and support staff, Middle School students gain increasing academic independence and embrace scholarship.
With this preparation, it is no wonder that 98% of our students are accepted into their high school of choice.
Creating a lifelong community of learners
Our students are taught to value education beyond the classroom and they develop a strong sense of community that lasts through high school and beyond. Students work together to develop introspection, collaborative skill building, and engagement with world by taking part in programs like National History Day, STEAM Shark Tank, and Names, Not Numbers. They develop their dedication to Torah and Hashem through student-led minyanim, mishna yomi, mishmar, Chidon Hatanch and Torah Bowl.
